The truth behind the tales…

Ahoy there! ☠

I would like to share with you a little about where this story has come from. I have been living at the bottom of the world 🌏(New Zealand) for many years now, but I hail from an English city, once known as ‘Bristowe.’ This is a Pirate City  ☠ and the birthplace of Edward Teach (AKA Blackbeard.) This is a city of secret caves and 🌊 salt-soaked stories of treasure and treachery. It is said that the city of Bristol (as they call it now) inspired the writings of Robert Louis Stevenson  (Treasure Island) and Daniel Defoe (Robinson Crusoe). And it also inspired me!

So I will let you in on a little secret. There is an actual pub in Bristol, which has an actual entrance to an actual network of caves! Do these caves still have any actual pirate plunder 💰 in them? (That would be telling!) 🤫 😉
